Which Exhaust Should I get????

Re: Which Exhaust Should I get????
Is the car stock? What are your future plans?
I have minor bolt-ons and went with the Dynomax Bullet true dual setup. I loved it at first, but I wouldn't recommend it now. It's just too freakin' loud and I want my backpressure again. You can't go wrong with the sound of true duals, but I would suggest chambered mufflers. It will give you some backpressure so it won't have that "V6 rev" feel under acceleration. You could choose either the Flowmaster 2 chambers or Spintech's.
But it's all based on your opinion, look, sound and cost factors. If you have the money, go with the GMMG catback. Sounds unreal.
EDIT: I just noticed that you have a M6. With the dual bullet setup, you wouldn't really have to worry about backpressure. You can really feel the difference in an automatic. You would be fine though.

This should be in LS1 tech, and if you posted it there theyd probably tell you to do a search. A quick search will net you hundreds of threads on the subject of catbacks.
That and you can go to www.ls1sounds.com and take a listen and see what you like.

SLP made two additional mufflers for their LM system. One is a race-type bullet muffler and another is a high flow muffler. The new LM II allows you to swap between the three (resonator-loudest, bullet-middle, high flow-quietest, but still louder than stock). Check out slponline.

Well I have an LT1 with the Loudmouth and a 99 LS1 that I picked up yestreday and she's got the Magnflow catback, and I prefer the Magnaflow over the Loudmouth, but thats just me.

I like my Flowmaster catback. Sounded great with stock manifolds and cat, sounds even better with Mac mids and !cat. I run a cutout so the flow issue of the flowmaster isn't an issue at the track. Still has plenty of power capped on the street.
