Filing an insurance claim?

I just noticed a huge amount of gauges and scratches on my rear windshield and my rear hatch. It looks like someone has damaged that. I have also noticed the same things in my front bumper. I have a 97 Formula and was wondering if I filed an insurance claim, with my 500 dollar deductable, if they would order me and install paint, etc. a 97 Trans Am front bumper and the 97 WS6 hatch. These damages are pretty intense with the amount that is on there, and I don't want them there anymore! Will this be allowed?

I already know my rates won't go up by damages not caused by me, but damages caused by an accident will. I have full coverage on my car. I'm only aware of me having to pay a 500 dollar deductable and they put on whatever. The rear hatch for a TA and the front bumper I believe cost the same. Someone vandalized my sisters car and was about 2200 in damages, and her rates didn't go up. I talked to the insurance agent and she said the rates won't go up.

Will I have to pay a difference if there is one between the Trans Am hatch and the hatch I have on there? I believe they do cost the same though.

As soon as the Insurance Claim Adjuster see what you want replaced he is going to laugh at you. What you call vandalism, he is going to say "normal wear and tear" and refuse the claim. Just my opinion.

Having gauges keyed out of your paint is normal wear and tear......?

There are massive amounts of slices in my back windshield, and on my rear spoiler which would not be normal wear and tear. It def. looks like someone keyed it.

Like I said its your opinion vs the claim adjuster. Been there and done it. So don't get your hopes up for a free ride on body repairs.
