He just asked me to go pick it up a 94 Z28 with him tommorrow. I was a little thrown back and didnt ask anything about the car. Im not sure if he knows alot about these cars but what should I look out for? Only thing I can think of off the top of my head directly related to the car is has the opti been replaced... Anything else other than the basic things to look out for in a used car?

 

do a search for the "intake oil leak"

maybe check the rear seal on the tranny for leaks

look to see if there is rubber on the inside of the wheelwells showing ti has been through some brake stands

 

No leaks in my car, that's my buddy up there, hey Bahama! But yeah, the car turned out to be pretty solid and a little more than I expected. Only problem I've found so far is that I do believe the tranny is starting to slip. Not a MAJOR problem for the time being but I do wanna get it taken care of before it causes anything serious. I want to put that B&M shift kit that's in it to good use.
