Recently purchased a set of headers for my 86 z28. have not installed them yet, maybe this weekend. i have had a few of my friends tell me i should have these ceramic coated on the inside to keep the heat down in the engine compartment. can this be done? what are the benefits other than heat? what about wrapping them like i see on motorcycles from time to time?
the ceramic coating, is this something that i could do at home?
