Headlight chime on all the time...
I drug home a '95 3.4 V6 Camaro a couple weeks ago. I was going to fix it for a friend. The car was cheap and supposedly only needed a tranny swap... and it came with the replacement tranny.
I swapped the tranny only to find a couple more surprises...
This evening was the first time I drove the car in the dark. The headlight chime is on the entire time the lights are on.... even if the car is running. How does that chime decide when to do it's thing?
Any ideas?
I swapped the tranny only to find a couple more surprises...
- VSS connector in wiring harness was gone
- fuel tank was full of rust
- rust killed the fuel pump, too
- tie rod ends were shot
- heater core is bypassed
- broken spring in R-R brake drum
- leaking oil pressure switch
- dimmer switch doesn't appear to work
