headliner removal

Any tricks?

I know there is some velcro where exactly are the velcro strips located?

As far as I know in my 93 hard top, remove the dome light, remove the side rails, remove the visers,

Any specifics I should know??

Thanks

Once I got the dome light, sail panels, a-pillar panels, and sun visors all off, the headliner pretty much just fell down. It was really easly.

The velcro is right in the center and by now is probally not even attached, if it is attached it is probably loose.

I found the easiest way to take the headliner out of the car once it is loose is throught the rear hatch area.

The sail panels and A - Pillars are just held in with clips? Just pull them down?? Anything to watch for in breaking something??

Got it out OK.

Now when the guy goes to put the new cloth on does he scrape all of the old foam off or does he spray on top of the old foam.

clean it all off. You sould be able to use just use a dry cloth and gently wiping. It should just crumble.
