Hi, I have a 97 ss camaro. I would like to swap to obd1 to tune it for free. I have the ecm. I have tuned an lt1 swap before 96 with obd1 computer and obd1 plug. I have the y cable with both obd1 and 2 connectors. If I swap the 95 ecm in, must I swap the diagnostic plug to obd1 style as well or can I write tunes and stuff through the obd2 plug with tuner pro. If I must change can you please provide pin out and what style obd 1 to order

Assuming you have the OBD-1 PCM used in both the 94 and the 95 F-Body LT1, you could go with 94 12-pin, or 95 16-pin. Just has to match the correct diagram.

 

You really only need to change the knock sensor for the ob1 swap. My 97 is obd1. Easy to do.
