honestly.... how do i jack up the front of the car
i can not seem to find a place to put a floor jack on the front of the car (94 formula). I know there are places on both sides of the car for the "jack stands" but they're just like little blocks of plastic and i dont know if i wanna trust them. So where do all of you guys put your floor jack to get the front up???

I usually jack on that side piece get one side up, put a jack stand under it than since one side of the front is up its easy to get a jack under there and jack both sides up.

lol... being the hick that i am... to take all trouble and complexity out of this. use two boards... put them infront of your tires... pull up on them.. 2x4's work but wider is better. dont need to be too long... be careful in grass cause the boards will pop up and hit your fenders if they are too long

i put the jack under the k member and jack the whole thing up at once, then i put the jack stands where the a frame pivots from. the smaller jackstands have about the same curvature as that point. holds good enough for me. i am not scared to start jerking on stuff under the car.

Those plastic pads are NOT the jacking point...it even says it right there on the car "do not jack here". They are attached to the plastic fenders and you will cause them to bow out. If the car is running, use ramps, if not...either push the front wheels onto some boards or jack up each side enough to get boards under each wheel. Then use a block of wood and jack up the kmember. I like to put my jack stands behind where the kmember bolts to the body...its about where the front of the door is.

A floor jack that has a cup to contact the plastic, is better served with a piece of wood to even out pressure. The jack that comes with the car is a sissors which has a flat surface to lift with.
Edit; I looked in my owners manual, and the jack that comes with the car has a raised portion that fits into a notch behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel. My mistake.
