How do you remove the airbag "cover"?

I need to gain access to the horn switch assembly for repair/replacement but can't figure out how to remove the cover on the front of the steering wheel. I tried lightly prying at it but don't want to damage anything and certainly don't want the airbag to deploy. Any tips on getting in there?

If you feel behind the steering wheel there should be two bolts/screws holding it in place. Be sure to pull the airbag fuse just to be safe and not trigger it off.

I believe there are four #30 TORX screws holding the driver side inflater module. I recommend disconecting the battery and waiting 20 minutes before working, just to be safe. Once the inflater is removed, you can connect the battery again if necessary. When placing the inflater module on a bench or shelf, leave the front facing up with nothing on top of it.
