theres an fbody at the local junkyard with a perfect hatch window that i need for my car. any tips on removal without messing it up? i'm only going to pay $20 for it. thanks for any help.

 

well open the hatch and you will see at the top 2 hinges that bolt it to the b pillar near the roof. Better have a buddy help, it's one heavy ****. Then use a flatblade screwdriver to pop the hatch struts off by prying up on the band on the end of the struts.

The glass, itself, has urethane adhesive that has to be cut to get the glass out of the hatch. They do make special tools to do this, but you may be able to find another way.

Poor mans way to cut the window out. 2 screw drivers and some piano wire. Its tempered glass be really carefull not to touch the edges. The right way is a hand cutter that has a blade at 90 degree angle.
