How to fix convertible top...
I would like to try and fix my convertible top this weekend, (the glue holding it down to the frame has come loose), and now when I drive the top raises up lke a bubble. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem and fixed it, just need a little advice to point me in the right direction.

Re: How to fix convertible top...
just about every 4th gen f-body convertible I've seen has the bubble effect to the top at any speed... I assume mine does but I've never had someone else drive it to look at the problem...
I don't know what gets loose with time that causes the problem. I don't think its glue... I have a set of helms manuals for mine at home... I'll look at the top section when I get home tonight...
I have been told that replacing a top is something best left to professionals...

go to the convertible section of ls1tech. a LOT of help there. DON'T BE SCARED! If you want to fix it yourself, Dustin there will help you.
FYI, 7 years, 100k miles, and mine is just fine when driving
