How to a set of keys for your car?

I lost my only set of keys for my 94Z. Anyone know what steps i can take on getting another set? The car still has Vats enabled. Any where but the local dealer is fine with me. I won't even consider dealing with the dealer here, so please don't mention that route.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

If it's VATs.. like you say.... You uh.. need a special key with a chip on it.. and uh... there's a certain place you can usually go and they will have all the info about your car... and uh.. they.. like... um... can give you what you need... but like.. they.... The uh .. name escapes me *looks at previous post*

Bring your proof of insurance or vehicle registration to a dealership, and they'll make you a new key for about $30

Not sure about whatever problem you have with your local Chevy dealer, but I believe it's your only answer here. What's the big deal about going to them and having a key made?

If you absolutely refuse to deal with your dealership, then just go to the next closest one to you.

did you lose the door key, ignition key or both? For the door key a locksmith can do that, for the ignition key you have to goto the dealer.
