I am sure the fan question has been beat to death but...

I have been the proud owner of a 30th Anniv. Z28 for a week and a day now and I am dying to get her on the road but I need help. My fans do not kick on! I replaced the relay's and they kicked on to cool the fan down and now they dont work again. I have swapped them with the A/C relay to check them and they all work. I have no heat coming into the car just cold air and it will blow condensation up on the glass. What does everyone think?

P.S. I am typing this up really quick because my friend and I are taking his 02 ws6 to pick up his new 00 Z28! I will get my profile filled out soon!

Thanx in advance everyone!

Do the fans kick on when you turn the A/C on?

What is the coolant temperature? The low speed fans don't come on until 226*F and the high speed at 235*F.

When I turn the A/Con the temp still will go right up to the redline even crossing a bit without burying out. With the A/C off It takes less then a mile for the the temp. to be maxed out and I have to pull over to let the car cool down.

Check for ANYTHING that may have been sucked up into the air dam. Also take the top shroud off and clean down in there really really good. After that, check for air in the system.

When I was under the car last weekend I noticed no debris all the fins looked good and clean so I wonder if maybe there isnt a bubble in there. I am going to flush the system and change the t-stat Sat. and we will see how she goes. Thanx everyone for your help.
