Installed LS1 into 94 LT1 Fbody, how to bypass VATS, no factory PCM now
I just finished installing a 98 Complete LS1 into a 94 formula.
I used a standalone LS1 wiring harness that doesnt tie into the factory underdash wiring. The problem I have now is that when you turn the key on, the dash lights up but the fuel pump doesnt kick on and the starter wont engage from the key.
I ran the factory wire to the start but its not getting power, so i assume the problem is VATS.
Im using the factory column/key so i dont think its a problem with the computer chip in the key. I then connected the yellow/purple wire together under the dash to the right of the glovebox, still nothing.
There is no factory LT1 pcm in the car, so i need to just connect power from the key operation directly to the wire feeding the starter. Can someone point me in the right direction here on how to wire it ?
