Re: Intake Elbow

Well I ordered 1LE intake bellow from Huffins Chevy in Lewisville Tx.From e-bay.$76.95 shipped.Part # 25147210 for 1993 thanks to shoeboxes web sight.Should get it next week. Now it will be easier to get to the throttle body without loosening all the intake clamps and moving my cold air intake around to get it off.( no vented opti).Hope this helps.

Re: Intake Elbow

Why did you change the IAC? Mine is 21 years old and still works fine.

Re: Intake Elbow

I didn't install it yet.My car is 22 years old and I'm finding GM parts are dwindling down as far as availability. So I'm visiting auto recycling yards and I am picking up a few odds and ends.My plastic screw for the fuse box was broken so I picked up a fuse box(not so nice looking) ,but the plastic screw was good so I switched it out. Also picked up an oil dipstick, trans dip stick, power steering cap,oil cap(mine was just turning and turning)and a tube for the oil inlet that didn't come with the 93.All this for 30 bucks.Post from other websites suggest replacing the idle control valve every 75,000 mi.I'm at 39000plus but the car is old and I just feel the day will come when I'll have to replace it as well.Sorry for the long post but the car is beautiful and hope to keep it for a while.I looking into the new ac delco water pumps on e-bay for a hundred and something,as I have had one replaced before for much more.I just want to be ready, that's all.Trying now to find ac delco coil wires but they all want $25.00 or so even still now today. Thanks for reading.
