jet hot headers question

im buying headers for my 93Z and i deleted the EGR system seeing as though you dont need it to pass inspection. im going to buy them from speed engineering they have a set of headers for the 93 camaro but it comes with EGR fittings. they also have a set of racing headers but it starts at 94 not 93. is their any difference in headers from 93-94 should i be ok buying these headers

Re: jet hot headers question

First of all it is a bad idea to be eliminating the EGR .I was seeing over 11 degrees of KR.There was many yrs. ago an article in Car Craft in tech where it said removing the egr is a bad idea.Btw those headers usually have a a.i.r emmissions fittings that you can buy plugs for. This cleans up the engine bay& eliminates the air pump.If after this you get a ses light you can get that off thru pcm programming.Hope this helps.
