Left side signal lighter, Dim when lights on, help?

So I just got this car recently, and im' driving in the dark tonight and I notice that the left side signal light on the inside isn't blinking on my dashboard lights as quick as the rightside. I got out of the car and looked and sure enough the outside left signal light is much fainter then when I signal with the right light.

I turned the lights to the car off, and then the light is back to normal blinking and everything...

Anyone know why that is?

Check for corrosion in the socket.

LOL! Do you have to use an adjustable metric wrench for that?
