Has anyone ever had a problem with LM performance. I ordered some sub frame connectors from them about 3-4 weeks ago and when I check their site, the order is still not processed. I asked in an email what the current status was and it seemed as if the sales rep copped an attitude with me telling me that the hold up was from MACs (the manufacture) end. Apparently MAC ohasnt mass produced this part for a while, but would anyone else expect follow up if they are having trouble getting the part, or would you expect to have to inquire about the current status as it appears they did not even receive the order, however payment was processed and in return get a snappy rep. Just curious if this is consistant with others experience.

On another note, what are the best sub frame connectors and if you dont plan on taking it to the track, are bolt on ok and if so.....where are the best prices (weld and bolt-on) Thanks

 

You could have just gotten a bad rep, there are always some sour apples in he bunch. As for the SFCs, I could see MAC being backordered on them as they aren't one of the bigger suppliers/names in the SFC market. Bolt-on and weld in SFCs will be pretty close in price, the bolt-ins will cost a little more. They should still be adequate for your application.

 

ordered some parts for my LS1 4 yrs ago and wasn't told till i received a package that one of the parts was on backorder.

I've ordered from them and received everything promptly.

 

I ordered my SLP lid from them and I actually had to contact them to find out the lid was backordered. I ended up switching to the whisper lid and they shipped it out that day for the same price as the SLP unit with free shipping (Which worked out extremely well since the SLP one was 102$ with free shipping, and the Whisper lid was 130$.. but I still ended up getting it cheaper than all the other stores)

 

i went to order my ssra from there few years back and a guy (think it was leon) was a total a$$hole. 3 weeks go by with no communication and i call and hes like "its not our problem, the manufacturer didnt send any out yet, go call them to see where your order is, not us, we never said they were in stock!" (despite asking what the lead time was and being told 5-7 business days when i first placed my order)

when i questioned him why as a customer i had to call and do their inventor and shipping/receiving, he hung up on me. i called back and told them they better not charge my credit card or i will despute the charges.

i couldnt find a used one and i ended up calling back a year later and asked if it was in stock, spoke to a friendlier rep and it came when said.

all in all its probably like 2000gtp said. one bad rep. we probably ended up with the same jacka$$.

I ordered my headers from there and at the time they didn't have a ORY listed so I called Leon and he got me one, now it is listed on their site. Overall I had a great experience from them.
