hi there. I have a 1996 Formulia Firebird and like so many 4th gen. F bodies the driver side seat foam is going bad. sitting in the seat the foam on the left side has realy compressed. I was looking to replace it, but the two companies that use to make it discontinued it and I can not find it anywhere. I have heard about steam treatment, but I heard it is not a long term fix. does anyone know where I could get the foam replacement or where I could go to get the foam fixed correctly ? ideally I would like to get the foam and replace it myself, but open to hire if I need to.

Any good upholstery shop should be able to build on your existing foam and/or replace and shape it altogether if replacement molded foam is no longer available.
