Loudmouth

I just had loudmouth installed on my car. I can tell you that it sounds awesome and all of you who said that it drones and sounds raspy are babies My car sounds fine. I had flowmaster on there and this is just a little louder but not raspy. Then again i have cats and factory manifolds.

Re: Loudmouth

You don't have headers is why it sounds good. Add LTs and see what happens.

Re: Loudmouth

Only thing i don't like is the resonance/drone about 2000 rpm.. Only time its really bad is for example, with a 6 speed and 3.42's, about the 75-80 mph in 6th..

If you want to keep it, and plan on adding LT's in the future...you will need about an 18" bullet resonator (w/ an ORY). It's sraight through w/out cats and it can get pretty raspy...

I heard a LS1 with LT's and a Loudmouth and it sounded good at idle and when he cranked it... As he drove off it sounded like an old dump truck... HORRIBLE.

Re: Loudmouth

Just put Hooker catback on my car today, sounds awesome. Sounds stock below 2 grand but about that, it sounds real sweet.

It drones no worse then my Flowmaster did. I really like it. I do plan on adding LT's but i will have a catted Y pipe. Anything without cats i think sounds raspy.

I was just tossing this tread out there since there are alot of people who just hate LM, but i think it sounds more muscle car like then most of the stuff out there. Mine sounds like my flowmaster except a little louder and i only had slp y and a hollowed out cats as well as a flowmaster muffler and mine sounded like the ***** but this sounds alot better.
