Lt1 PCM issues

Lt1 PCM issues
I have a 1997 SS that I recently installed a lt4 hot cam, long tubes and a s10 2025 converter in. I had pcm for less do the tune, I got the car running a while back and suddenly had a p1864 tcc circuit code that was not there before I had the tune. I did some diagnostics and could operate all selonids with my snap on verus scanner. I did not drive the car though (snow on the ground). I contacted Keith about the issue and he said he said I must have trans problems, I told him it was fine beforehand but I need to check engine light off to pass emissions. I ended up sending it back and he deleted the code. Well this last week I finally finished the car up after deciding to drop the motor and fix the wiring nightmare of a motor swap done by the previous owner. I go to drive the car and as soon as it hits the 1/2 shift the light comes on again but this time it's a shift selonid a code. The car shifts fine and lock up works so I'm like wtf. I had bought a spare pcm just to have but it's tuned for a 383 with a cc503 and 36lb injectors. I plugged that in yesterday and drove the car 6 miles home and it ran lean but good and I had no codes at all. So I am pretty sure something happened during the refresh the first time and messed up my pcm. So for now I ordered a set of used bosch 881 36lb injectors and I'm going to run my spare pcm hopefully it works out. I do plan on eventually buying the jet dst and I ordered the plcc32 sockets and flash chips for the pcm and I will attempt to repair the bad one. This is all new ground for me as I have had all carbureted hot rods in the past. What do you all think about running the spare pcm? The 503 isn't too far off the hot cam so hopefully it will be ok.

Re: Lt1 PCM issues
Update I installed some 36lb injectors and took it for a 30 mile ride wuth myv2 boys and all is well. It runs great everything works as it should and it's got plenty of power. We did a massive 2 gear smoke show in front of my buddies shop.
