i just got done driving my car. and it seems like its making a whistling sound when the rpms go up. i have no idea where its coming from. does this sound like anything to anyone?

 

Surprise! You've been OVERHAULED with a new Procharger!!!!

Check your serpentine belt first.

Did you install a CAI? If so make sure the cone didn't fall off.

If not, make sure the "donkey dong" is still attached.

Check for any air leaks, especially around the TB/elbow connection(mine was ripped and caused similar sounds).

edit: also maybe one of your accessory drive bearings are shot? Doubtful but I don't know...

 

haha i swear when i was driving i was thinking that it sounded a little like a procharger. LMAO

the serpentine belt was switched out not too long ago..
my cai has been on for yrs. so i doubt its that..
my donkey dong is plugged but maybe so
and the TB and elbow connections could be it. bc we did recently change the intake manifold gasket.. i'll have to check all that tonight.. but iwas driving with the windows down and it was annoying the **** out of me.

Also make sure the elbow isn't dry rotted or anything. Maybe have small cracks in it?
