Re: In need of clutch fork
Thank you.
The store is closed through end of this week. But when I look up the part the website indicates that it's back ordered and not available.
I am getting pretty desperate. My buddy said he can have it welded back together but I don't think there's much room around the part to allow for that and it might bind.
Any other possible suggestions?
Thanks

Re: In need of clutch fork
Also might try here. GM 12523312 Fork - GM genuine OEM part
12523312,fork-gm part
they show 33 places in the U.S. that may have it.
Hope this helps.

Re: In need of clutch fork
Borg Warner made them until 1997, when the T56 business and manufacturing facilities were sold to Tremec.
Have you checked this source:
Buy Camaro/Firebird V8 LT1 T-56 Clutch Release Fork New motorcycle in Easley, South Carolina, US, for US $95.00
Pioneer makes replacement parts, including clutch forks. Did a search on "ebay shop eddies" and everything that turned up look like simple stamped parts, not for the pull-back LT1 T56 clutch design. But maybe I missed it. There is a Pioneer CF-100 that indicates it fits the 4th Gen LT1's, but I'm a little suspcious that it fits over 1,000 models of Chevrolets, and a bunch of other GM cars.

Re: In need of clutch fork
Thanks Fred...
I checked the first one that has the right pic, but when I try to order it is says out of date...and there is no number to call.
You are correct about AutoZone, their cross reference is wrong, because I bought the part they said was a match and it did not fit...
