Re: In need of clutch fork

Thank you.

The store is closed through end of this week. But when I look up the part the website indicates that it's back ordered and not available.

I am getting pretty desperate. My buddy said he can have it welded back together but I don't think there's much room around the part to allow for that and it might bind.

Any other possible suggestions?

Thanks

Re: In need of clutch fork

Thanks FD...the part number on the part is:

Borg Warner 13-86-096-907-B

I believe it's actually made by Tremec, part number 1386-596-004

Seems these are impossible to find...

FD, appears the OEM number you referenced may be correct, but I cannot find the part on eBay you found.... What search criteria should I use? Thanks.

Tried several of the 33 places listed and they don't have it although the web says they do...

But if it's on eBay, pls provide more info...I can't find it. Thanks FD.

Re: In need of clutch fork

Borg Warner made them until 1997, when the T56 business and manufacturing facilities were sold to Tremec.

Have you checked this source:

Buy Camaro/Firebird V8 LT1 T-56 Clutch Release Fork New motorcycle in Easley, South Carolina, US, for US $95.00

Pioneer makes replacement parts, including clutch forks. Did a search on "ebay shop eddies" and everything that turned up look like simple stamped parts, not for the pull-back LT1 T56 clutch design. But maybe I missed it. There is a Pioneer CF-100 that indicates it fits the 4th Gen LT1's, but I'm a little suspcious that it fits over 1,000 models of Chevrolets, and a bunch of other GM cars.

Pioneer/Clutch Fork CF-100 at AutoZone.com

We have discussed this part:

Re: In need of clutch fork

Thanks Fred...

I checked the first one that has the right pic, but when I try to order it is says out of date...and there is no number to call.

You are correct about AutoZone, their cross reference is wrong, because I bought the part they said was a match and it did not fit...

Thanks FD, but the Pioneer is the same that Autozone offers, and it's actually for the V6 engine.
