Ok, im comin home tonight goin about 60-65 down I95, in my dads 95 ford t bird, since my camaro is in the shop, ad I feel a bang, and the ca shakes like I ran over something. Then when I hit the gas, the throttle does nothing. Then the engine dies, And wont turn over when I go to restart it.

 

It wont turn over?

Did it blow any smoke?
Is it leaking any oil?
does the starter try to work?
is the battery good?
Is there any coolant in the oil or oil in the coolant?

 

Sounds very much like it threw a rod...any dents in oil pan from inside out? Is there water in the oil...milky? They will usually still turn over after throwing a rod and quite often even run but not always...if lack of oil pressure was the cause it might not. Just a guess from the limited info given.

 

turned out to be the fuel pump

 

The fuel pump going shouldn't stop it from turning over....

 

it wasnt gettin any fuel, so there was no way it was starting
