Need trailer hitch that will accomodate dual outlet exhaust.

Need trailer hitch that will accomodate dual outlet exhaust.
So, I have a stainless aftermarket catback on my car, and I'm looking to find a hitch that will still fit the car.
I've read about a few LT1 owners that have had good luck with small class I hitches so I posted this over here- even though this is for an LS1 car.
What's my options for aftermarket exhaust and a hitch?
Thanks,
Ben

Let's see, the f-bodies have similiar motors to GM trucks, BUT I have more torque, I have 4.10:1 gears, I have better brakes, a FAR better transmission... So, why can't I pull a 600-lb boat?
When I read posts like this it makes me think that the poster is under the mindset of, "Oh, I can't go to the store with my running shoes on and walk around inside". Just because a car is "fast" doesn't mean it can't still have some amount of utilitarian value.
I'm thinking you would be happier if I pulled it with a 4-cylinder Ranger and ran it WOT the whole way to the launch. ?
Anyway, if anyone has any advice, I'm still listening.

I have a Drawtite on mine. At the time it was all I could find to fit. I have stock exhaust also. It's a 200lb tongue/2000lb gross. I just use it to tow utility trailer or jet ski. I have seen a guy on here that tows a (guessing) 24ft boat. I think it's cool to see people looking funny at me when I'm towing something. Especially when my brother breaks down and I have to hook up the tow bar

It's generally not a good idea to tow with a unibody. Not saying it can't be done, it's just the whole lack of a chassis to attach the hitch too. That said, i've towed heavier things (my 3600lb F-body) with my 4cyl ranger and a ball hitch on my bumper. Again, not a great idea, but it was out of necessity.

I'm sure some guys are seeing this thread and really scratching your head. Well, for what it's worth I did the same thing when I first heard of towing with an F-body.
The referenced "24 foot" boat is a drag boat with a 300 horse outboard on it, but I don't think it's really 24' long. The guy who pulls this with his LT1 camaro posts here as "Scream and Fly".

the problem is not the torque or the power, it`s the braking ability and the fact that the steel in the rear of the camaro is paper thin.
your trying to compare a truck to a unibody car, there quit different.
i had a 1995 cadillac deville with the northstar engine and it had a reese hitch under the rear, now the car has 300hp and loads of torque but the hitch was reinforced with solid steel through the floor and into the trunk and i could still only use it to pull a small trailer, ( ATV/motorcycle )
good luck with this though
it`s gonna be sad to see a good f-body totaled

Far from it. It certainly isn't as strong as a truck frame or even a nonunibody car. I think it would be refered to as the subframe. If I can get a hold of a camera this weekend i'll try to take a picture of mine. It seems like you'd be fine towing jetskis or something small, but i don't think i'd tow a boat. The engine will definitely pull the load but the strength of your mounting points is gonna be a deciding factor. Also be especially careful if you have single piston brakes up front.
