Need trailer hitch that will accomodate dual outlet exhaust.

Ah, the Camaro is the best tow machine I ever used. And trust me, nobody tows with a Camaro as much as I do. I do 2800-mile round trips, towing boats all the time. Yes, in overdrive too. 80 MPH, and I get 20 MPG too. My car now has 120,000 miles and I never had a problem. I have Draw-Tite and it fits perfectly between my Borla.
If you want detailed pics of the hitch and how it installs, let me know.

Well, I checked out the rear subframe today. They (GM) just uses some thin sheet metal and form the rear subframes from this.
I'm curious to see how these hitches mount on now after examining my car a little better.

Here are some photos. It's bolted through, with large backing plates on the inside of the frame. There are three bolts on each side. It's not going anywhere, trust me - and I tow a 2000 pound rig with mine.

He said he wanted to pull a 600lb boat - about what just one typical jet ski weighs. That's little more than two or three fat friends riding with him. I think with a tranny cooler (just to be on the safe side) that a small boat like that should be a cake walk.

Anyway, I have decided to definitely get a hitch. I'll post about my towing experiences. My previous tow-vehicle was a th400, GMPP's 350HO '88 chevy pickup.

The latest is I have located a hitch that I am interested in. It looks like the hitches will more than likely accomodate the majority of aftermarket exhaust systems.
Will post results/findings later.
