So i got a new GM e brake cable, part number 19110777. It's the one that goes from the handbrake lever through the body. Problem is it's a solid 3 to 4 inches longer than the one that came out. Anybody know if this is the wrong cable or is there a way to adjust this? I read the shbox page with the adjustment procedure but i think with this much slack that may not necessarily help me.
