Where you from Salty? That price is either not bad or way too much depending on your geographic location.

 

Thats not a bad price i paid 6300 for my 95 a4 with 98k on it also the oil is most likely from the intake mainfold gasket i had to replace mine like 2 weeks after i got my car, i didnt know about the under carrage washes ill keep that in mind. oh yeah, congradulations have fun.

 

I picked up my car for 5800.00 two months ago. It is a flawless black 97 z-28 w/ red badges and 93500 miles. To sweeten the pot, it already had an exhaust cutout, an edelbrock 3" cat-back, a moroso cold air intake, a jet air foil, a tb bypass, 180 deg. stat, and a hotchkis strut tower brace. All in all, it saved me probably eight hundred dollars in mods.

 

Yeah, carfax definitely isn't the gospel. The last car I owned was clean according to them, but further inspection by me revealed evidence of a pretty serious accident . I guess the insurance company never knew...

I've had the car for a week now, and I love it!! Just can't get used to having exactly what I wanted . The underside of the car has some pretty bad rust tho. The floor panel in the rear driver's side leaks water from below b/c of rust eatin it's way through. I guess I'll have to address that this winter.
What have any of you done for bad floorboard rust? Cut out the floor and piece in good metal?
