Not sure where this foam piece goes. Any help?

I just replaced both of my window motors and this piece fell out during the process of both the LH and RH inside of doors. Kinda clueless on where these go, anybody got any idea? Its foam about 3" long and 1" tall. Any thoughts will be appreciated

@shoebox is the door/motor/window guru. Hopefully he sees this.
I looked at his motor replacement photos and his window adjustment photos and didn’t see anything similar.

I looked through his repair page too and saw nothing. Ready to put the door panels back on just don't know if this piece is detrimental or not. I'll wait for now. No hurry

Best guess: it’s part #38 in this picture: a bump stop that catches the front of the window when it’s fully lowered. It’s described in the parts catalog as “Bumper, frt s/d wdo frt”, and those abbreviations expand to “front side door window front.” The first “front” refers to the front door (despite the fact that this car has no rear doors; GM is exceptionally consistent in their naming), the second refers to the front bump stop; the rear one is #36.
For reference, the above diagram is applicable to all 4th gen Camaros, 93-02. Most of it is applicable to Firebirds too. You can see what each number corresponds to here: https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/e...f/10/mf10-015/

Wow, that's a helluva parts breakdown. Thanks for the info. I eventually just put my door panels back on but I know I'll have em off again in the future and see if I can't figure it out when that time comes. The door and operation of the window does not seem to be affected at all with them missing though, so ill just hang on to them until the panel comes back off. Thanks again for the info though

Looking at this thread again on my computer (I had only looked from my phone prior to now), I can see the photos much more clearly. I now think it's not #38 from the diagram, but rather just a vibration damper that's supposed to be glued to the inside of the door. I haven't had my doors apart in ages, so I can't say for sure. It'd be considered part of the door shell and not listed as a separate part, nor shown in the diagram.
Maybe try finding some window motor howto videos on YouTube and see if you can spot it inside anyone's door?
