Question Which part number should I use?

I got the part number 10474278 (from this site) for the optispark "O" ring to replace for the oil leak from behind the opti. The parts guy at Chevy said that was for a Corvette (had no idea where on the car it went, just that's what his computer was saying.) and I needed part number 10128317 (Ign-seal). I got 2 sets of each. I'm pretty sure the one that he said was for the Corvette will work on my LT-1. The only problem is, the one he said I needed looks like a big thick black washer. The other is a small blue "O" ring. Does anyone know for sure which one I shouls use? Thanks.

10474278 is for a vented opti. Your 1994, non-vented does not use this o-ring (it's not an oil control o-ring, anyway). Sounds like might you want the timing cover seal for the opti drive - GM PART # 10128317.

Ahh...Thank you. I need to learn to ask the right questions the first time. This seal/gasket would fix the leaking oil out of the cam dowel pin area??

Yes, it would seal around the little stub shaft that drives the opti.
