What color is it? Neutral, pewter, ebony, graphite, or gray? I got the part #'s up right now...nevermind, figure it out for yourself:

Graphite: 16735696

Neutral: 16789714

Pewter: 16799320

Ebony: 16817202

Gray: 16799316 (F67) or 16799272 (F87) - have to look in your glovebox

Call the dealer. I've replaced two of them. They were like $8 a piece.

It's that big square plastic piece that's mounted to the headrest on your car and the seatbelt runs through it.

Yep, and they're really cheap. They seem to break REALLY easy though. I wonder why?

I broke mine as well. How do you install a new one? Do you have to unbolt the seatbelt from wherever its mounted to slip it in? Any easy way to install it besides cutting it to slide the belt through?

Re: Part # request: Seat belt ear

Also how do you replace that plastic part that matches your interior color that resides on the belt's clip, so everytime you grab your seatbelt you don't burn your hands when you buckle up???...

Re: Part # request: Seat belt ear

Mine broke also, both of them, driver and passenger. I have the solid plastic ones but I saw a 98 vert with ones that opened in the middle so that you dont have slide the new one on the end of seatbelt all the way up. I would much rather prefer to get those plus I think they look better. Does anyone know what Im talking about and have a part number for them??
