Pulley

Im curious to know the name of the little pulley to the right of the air compressor and to the left of the big harmonic balancer pully. I recently got a new air compressor installed and now its making a very loud squeaking noise. I'm fairly sure its coming from this little pulley. I know it can't be any other part because it did not make this noise before. I made a post earlier about this same noise thinking it was the tension pully but, came to find out it was what we thought the compressor so we took the belt off and the noise went away just until recently when the belt was put back on with the new compressor. Anyone know what it is called and if its replaceable ? Thanks for any info !

If it is a idler pulley you can take it off and replace the bearings or take out the seals on the out side of the bearings and pack grease in the bearings and put the seal back on. It is some times hard to locate witch one is making noise so if you take a can of WD-40 or something simuler to it with the red hose in the tip spray each pulley while the car is running when you spray the right one it should stop and that is the one that needs some TLC. make shore you spray the front and back of the pulleys. Good luck.

I agree with the post above, usually the noise comes from the belt, not the pulley.
