Question on LT headers???

How bad will ground clerance be with long tubes, I'm thinking hookers. My car is not lower yet, but I do want to go with the eibach and I was hoping to drop it anywhere between 1" to 1 1/2". I have 18" rims if it makes a dif.
Any suggestions?

patience is a virtue

you'll probably lose 1/2 to 1" of clearance...mostly due to the Ypipe...not so much the collector

If you have long tubes with the flanged y-pipe, then you may run into problems with dropped springs as well. I have heard of people pulling it off, but they have scrapped things occasionally and you have to be careful of the surfaces that you drive on.

Re: Question on LT headers???

I have Pacesetter LTs and am lowered 1.25" and dont really have any issues with ground clearance (although it measure at a little less that 3" at the y-pipe).

If you have a problem with the Moderator's actions, do NOT post it in the thread.... contact him using a PM or e-mail.

All I asked him to do was exhibit the requested courtesy to the other users. It is inconsiderate to "TTT" (or simliar) in such a short period.

What part of this are you having trouble with? Send me a PM and I'll help you with it.
