Re: Question on Warranty

Gm did have a 6yr or 60000 mile warranty for rust though, but it isn't worth the paper its written on. For example: surface rust is not covered, and guess who detemines the rust condition?? the Dealer and the normal reply is "your situation is not covered under warranty". So good luck trying to get anything covered.

Re: Question on Warranty

I figured that much. Thanks guys. I have a little rust starting to bubble under some paint and I didn't know if GM had anything that covered it. Thanks again, Tyler

Re: Question on Warranty

I believe the body is only coverd for 3 years/60 000km's anyways (here in Canada anyway, but we have lots of snow), so you might be out of luck by now. Might aswell take it to a body shop and get it fixed, before it gets out of control.
