Just as the title suggests, what are all the bolt ons really? Its hard to get a definite list. Im a college kid here, and Bolts on are the only thing im seeing in my future for the next few years, but after intake/exhaust, im out of ideas. Help me out.

um.....you forgot something......lol (thats a pretty comprehensive list)

you can also upgrade your ignition system (either an msd or crane box, or the delteq system)

Re: Quick rundown of all the Bolt ons

Maybe a better question would be, "Worthwhile bolt on's."

Don't waste your time with a MAF or a larger TB unless you are making serious HP. Also, the TB bypass is a worthwhile free mod. Underdrive pullies are good for about 5 maybe, but why would you want your electrical system and A/C to be comprimised for only 5 ponies? Air foil may give you 2-3. I've got one because I found a good deal on it. Couldn't feel the difference. All the other mods are specific to the goals of your car. I'm just trying to save you some $$ on stupid mods.

...and gears for some, especially A4's with the 2.73's.

"but why would you want your electrical system and A/C to be comprimised for only 5 ponies?"

i personally NEVER saw a problem with either charging or AC with my underdrive pullies on my LT1, and i havn't seen any problems on my LS1 either.

noticed a bit of a drop on my old 87 Iroc...

That's what I am looking at doing. I also want to get ahold of an aftermarket intake elbow as well.

Re: Quick rundown of all the Bolt ons

Anybody know the best bolt-on only times for LT1 and LS1 cars? I was curious if anyone had actually taken all the bolt-ons to the limit without digging into the engine. I would think at least LS1s would be able to get 11s w/ drag radials?

Re: Quick rundown of all the Bolt ons

they have done that in a gmhtp mag. they were all 11-12 sec cars
some of them have had alot of lightening done to them. thats a great free mod that does wonders

if i remember none of them were using bigger than a 1.6 rr
i know they have 1.7's out thier that fit, just something to think about
