Re: rear quarter panel replacement
Mine also needs a replacing, I would like to know also. I was quoted 2000 to pull out and return to normal my quarter. But I want to replace it. And incase anyone asks, I bought it like this, A UPS truck hit it, and no I had nothing to do with it.

How about insurance? That's what it is for. Sure, a claim will most likely raise your premiums a bit and you have to pay the deductible, but still.
If you don't have insurance or the circumstances where the damage occurred are such that it might not be feasible to use it, is a different thing, of course...
Anyway, I think you answered you own question already: a lot. A lot means different things to different people, of course, but if you want to have it done properly, it will not be a $1000, or maybe even $2000, job. I just got an estimate to fix a small dent on my rear QP at the local dealer for ~$700.00. I'm sure an independent shop can do it much cheaper, though. I'm sure yours will be much more.
Just go to your local dealer or independent bodyshop to see what they say. It doesn't cost you anything.
Just go shopping around. Good luck.

From what I understand, Rear 1/4 panals are one of the worst ever on Camaro's/firebirds! Sometimes it's enough to total a car. They are the only real steel body panal on the car.
I'd probably say the $2000 is about right.
