Refueling issues?

My '95 Z refuses to normally take fuel into the tank filler neck. It will pump a few gallons if I'm low, then the pump thinks it's full and shuts off regardless of the angle I'm holding it at. I have to sit there and feather the handle on the pump nozzle so it doesn't trip the 'full' sensor. It's really annoying and I ended up overflowing the fuel tank once. It's like there's something partially blocking the fill neck. I really don't want to drop my tank.

Anyone had any similar issues?

My work truck had same issues was a blockage in filler neck. Might want to shine a flash light down hole see of you can see anything. Or try to remove neck and replace.

I'll see if I can peer down in there and check it out. What was causing the blockage? I'm assuming someone stuffed something in there?
