Remote start

Re: Remote start
Not really a question for the engine tech forum, but you would want to read about how they work and install specifics on the website of whatever product you are considering. Most would require bypassing the VATS, IIRC.

yes they are a few that are easy to install, buy a bulldog system, i just picked one up for my durango R/T and it was a painless install with the wiring diagrams they supply you on their website and in the box,
you will however have to bypass your vats system by reading the ohms in the chip of your ignition key and putting that EXACT mount of resistor ohms into the vats wiring system to bypass it, its really simple and easy once you do your homework,
took me all of 30 min to install mine and had my durango idling in the driveway
