Sayonara Window Motor!!!
So I pull up to the Wendy's Drive Thru window to pay for what I had ordered... It is pouring rain and I went through the drive thru because I didn't feel like getting wet... Well I push the "Down" button on my window and it seemed to be operating just fine, until... I hear something strain and crackle and popple like hell! Just out of nowere the Window stops! No slowdown period or anything it just froze in place... Not even a minute passes and I smell smoke coming from the door. Well, I've been trying and trying and that window ain't budging at all. So not only did I have to get wet, but I also had to get drenched from 55 + MPH Interstate Rain... ...
What the heck caused this? Obiviously I'm going to need a new Window Motor
While we're on subject infact, I noticed that the Corvette Windows arn't signifficantly smaller than ours, yet the role up and down SOOOO much quicker... How did they get a stronger motor? Can that said motor be integrated into a Camaro Door? If not, where was that window motor fix thing?

Damn, know lots of guys who've had to replace their window motors (me included) but never heard of one smoking - something's going on you probably won't be able to tell until you pull the panel. Fuse/switch/wiring, etc. Window motor replacement guide I used was http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html And welcome to the club...

as far as the smoking... you may need a new relay switch (if anything gets jamed this will stop it from burning up the motor) i had to change my window motor on the driver side and it was a PAIN!! it took 4 hours! you will need some small bolts unless you have a grommet gun, to mount the sissors to the window motor. GOOD LUCK!

I might have to splurge and take it to a mechanic... Are there any more powerfull motors I can purchase?

Nor do I have a drill

Once you remove the panel, you will use the online guide to drill a couple holes in the fiberglass to expose the rivets holding the motor to the window regulator. Next, drill out the rivets to free the motor. unplug it, plug the new one in and replace it with screws and nuts instead of the old rivets.
It takes about 1.5 hours if you have never done it before. Once it is done, future repairs will only take 1/2 hour.
A mechanic will likely charge you quite a bit to do it because they will not drill the holes. Instead they will do it the hard way, removing the entire regulator assembly from the door. It's not very hard to do it yourself with shoebox's online guide. I suggest giving it a try. While you are in there, inspect, clean and lubricate the window tracks with some white grease.
