SECURITY light. bypassed pellet and still got the light?!?! tdr bypassed too.

When i bought the car back in 1999 it had the light the light has never flashed, it stays on. The car has always started and ran with the light on. Today i tested the pellet with a multi-meter and cound out i have pellet 15. So i wired up a 11.7k resister and tested it to be a true 11.7k, which is in the range of 11328 -12292 needed. The car still starts like normal and runs fine, but the light is still on.

two things i have noticed over the past few years that my shed some light on this.

1. My car will start WITHOUT a pelleted key, i had a key made with NO pellet and it still starts fine. So i'm sure it is bypassed elsewhere.

2. I have noticed someone manually bypassed a relay in my glovebox. The yellow/black and purple are hardwired together via a jump wire.

so where do i need to start?

What you bypassed was the VATTs system, it has nothing to do with the security system.
