Still can’t figure out my z28
I have posted here before and i have not got a clue whats going on with my car anymore. I got this thing cheap and have put so much money into it and i cannot get it to rev for anything. Previous owner had a problem where it would fall on its face and miss up to like 3000 rpm and would never rev over that. It had a blown head gasket #8 so i pulled out engine and put it on a stand and went thru it all, rebuilt heads, new timing chain, new lifters etc. ive been thru 8 optisparks all new. Even a buddy lent me his good optispark and same **** and we put it back on his car and works fine. I have put new tps, new icm, i put back OEM GM ICM Already, i put new coil, third set of wires, 3rd set of ngk tr55 plugs, 3rd new set of injectors. 3 pcms all being flashed with tunes by strong speed works. I have aldl cable and software. We have MAF DELETED its in speed density mode. I have put a new fuel tank, new fuel pump, new regulator. Compression on 3rd compression stroke is about 210-220 on all 8 cylinders. Air pump, egr, and all evap compenents deleted. Longtubes headers, new o2 sensors, offroad y pipe and its open right there so it has no cats or mufflers. Fuel pressure is good, i have gone over all engine grounds etc. Plugs are black everytime i pull them. Which indicates a running rich scenario. Tuner keeps pulling fuel I believe and same crap. Only thing I haven’t replaced is IAC, MAP and engine wiring harness. No codes. All headers tubes get hot. somebody help me ill pay i have tons of tools and specialty tools and testers

Is it still on the stand?
Are the O2 sensors in the header collectors, and the collectors wide open?
At any point have you checked for codes?
Speed density mode requires an accurate MAP sensor and an accurate inlet air temp sensor. Have you checked both of those? Also require accurate volumetric efficiency (VE) tables in the PCM. If you have modified heads, intake, cam, exhaust, the VE tables need to be reprogrammed.
Have you considered using Scan9495 to data log the PCM?

Unfortunately I read this when he first posted it, and didn’t jump on it right away. He came back on 6/2 but I hadn’t responded then. Guess I'm the “last man standing” here. Seldom does anyone else help out.
One thing that causes me to put off responding right away are posts with a single l-o-n-g run-on paragraph…. they're hard to consume.
