All very interesting in deed. Having owned both cars, the T/A being cammed and already not having the best milage, I never really paid much attention to this. So whata bout waxing our cars? Will this create less drag also?

Yours could be worse because you do have 105,000 miles on it and you may need a tune up. When was the last time you changed your plugs?

I do notice a difference with my headlights, and the cold weather seems to make my mileage worse to.

Cold weather=Denser air=Increased Friction=Decreased mileage.

Driving with your lights ON, not just "up" will make your alternator work harder, which will decrease mileage. Ditto for DRL's.
