I searched a little bit for this, but I found a couple of conflicting statements about it so I figured I would ask to be sure. I picked up a pair of t-tops from a junkyard and I was thinking about selling them. I got the t-tops off of a 3.8 Camaro (forgot to check the exact year of the car). I heard that t-tops from any fourth gen will fit any other fourth gen year. But I also heard that, I believe, '93 and '94 were different for t-tops compared to other fourth gens.

What is the real story with these things? Will t-tops from, lets say, a 97 3.8 fit any year fourth gen Camaro/Firebird?

 

Yes, the T-tops will fit any 4th gen. 93 and 94 have a dot matrix type of tinting instead of regular tinted glass. I also believe in 95 or 96 that the weather stripping was widened slightly although this doesn't make a difference in what fits.

JAB is indeed correct, I swapped the T Tops from a 97 3.8 into my 93 Z28 no problems.
