T56 reverse lockout wiring question
Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out the wiring for my reverse lockout on my 93 T56 -- i'm using a 1996 caprice harness with my 93 camaro engine (franken-car). The reverse lockout uses pin D6, which for the automatic harness is B+. For the manual trans, it is a Light Green wire, not listed as B+. What would the other wire be? I assume a ground, but which ground would I use? Just anything available?
Also, since I have re-programed my PCM so that it has a 95 camaro tune, does the D6 (which i believe winds up in the A4 transmission plug, the large 20 pin plug) then become non-B+?

If you notice, the D6 pin functions for both harnesses. Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: T56 reverse lockout wiring question
The D6 pin provides the ground on the T56. You need a 12 volt source to the other terminal on the reverse lockout solenoid. I spliced into the hot wire for the reverse lights. As you noted the D6 pin performs different functions depending on whether you have a T56 or an auto. For this reason I think you also need a T56 program in your PCM to make things work correctly. My reverse lockout worked correctly wired this way and with a T56 program.
