Thought i blew my motor, havent got under there to see what it is yet
i was driving going about 40 when i heard a pop and my engine died, no power steering, and now power breaks so i had to wrench it over to a parking lot, when i looked under the motor there was a mixture of antifreeze and oil, now i forgot to turn my after market fans on (stupid switch) and it may have over heated as well, anyways when i towed the car back i saw piece of metal laying there, and im pretty sure its from the timing chain housing, but what could have caused the antifreeze and oil mixture on the ground?

Could be anything from a hole in the block, should be obvious, or just a blown head gasket. Sound like a teardown may be in order. Drain the oil and see what comes out. And while your under there, if there's any holes. Is there any antifreeze in the engine bay or is it all under the car? Good Luck.

i dont think its a piece of the block, its about an 1/8th inch thick, and its in the engine bay as well as on the ground, i just got under there to see what i could find but its all oil drenched so i gotta hose it off a little i think, but im hopeing to god its my timing chain and water pump
