Throttle Response becoming ugly! Car becomes weak...
97 V6 3.8 Camaro.
I went to install my homemade CAI and when I took off my intake, it was FULL of oil! I checked my oil and it was perfectly full, It was dripping out the MAF Screen like water and gawd was it messy. Prior to this my car would be okay when it was cool and just become more and more sluggish to the point where even civics were dusting me. It's like I put my foot on the pedal and it becomes fleshy and the RPMS just slowly and slowly climb till I hit shifting point, and it sounded a tad weak.
Well I seafoamed it (DeepCreep) and it's SLIGHTLY better but still not as good as it used to be.
#1 Where did all that oil come from?
#2 How am I going to regain throttle respone? May I need a new TB? Can I take off the MAF Screen for some deeper cleaning and how? Also how do you reconnect it? I heard you need a new gasket.
