Re: traction control

why onhook it? just get in the habit of turning it off.

i think you need new brake lines to remove it.

try the Forced Induction forum...i know you have to remove it to run a SC on most fbodies

Re: traction control

I have an auto 97 Formula, how do I turn the traction control system off if I want to drive? There is no button for it.

Traction control (ASR) was an "option", not standard. Look at your build tag - it will have "NW9" on it if your car had the option. It will also have a large, ugly black box sitting on top of the driver's side valve cover.

Then it's probably a pretty safe bet that you don't have traction control.

I ordered my '02 Z28 without it
