Re: trailer hitch question...

As long as the hitch is installed to the frame properly, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use that.

Re: trailer hitch question...

I just put a Hidden Hitch brand trailer hitch on my Z-28. This and the other ones I looked at were all rated Class 1. I believe they suggest tongue weight be a max of 200 pounds and a trailer weight of 2000 max.

Re: trailer hitch question...

Thank you The boat is an X-Stream V-King, powered by a modified Mercury drag engine. The engine puts out about 375 hp, and will run over 115 for top speed. Our drag boat runs 131 and 9-second quarter miles.

Here are some photos I took:

Another photo of the Z28 and boat

STV at 138 MPH

Same boat as above, in while blowing over. Seriously scary pic!

Scream and Fly. Great name for the pilot of the boat. Is that a nitrous bottle behind the cockpit?

Re: trailer hitch question...

I put a Drawtite on mine 200/2000lbs. At the time it was the only company I found that made one for th camaro with dual pipes but I'm sure now there are a lot more out there. I pull a jet ski and a utility trailer with it. Never had any problems. It is neat to see some looks from people when they see a sports car towing a trailer.

Badge, it sure is. That's a 150 shot with alcohol.

Chuck, I use my Z28 to tow boats from New York to Florida. Yes, I tow in overdrive too, the whole way. Never had any problems.

That is an awesome picture! Do you have that picture in a bigger size (like 1280px)?
