Tun signal help needed

Ok, I have done a lot of work trying to figure it out already and this is where I am at.
My left front turn signal doesn't work.
Dash light is on, but solid, as is the rear light. Bulb is fine in the front. Socket is new and splice is correct and good. Right side everything works fine.
So I got a flasher as suggested by someone and now the back flashes, the dash flashes, but still nothing on the front. I used a test light on the front and there is no signal in the socket, going to the socket before or after my splice.
I traced it back to the wires coming out of the steering column and the signal is good there and through the first plug and it is still good coming out of there. Now I find the DRL module behind the radio and the signal going into the module flashes, but the one coming out does not(light blue/white wire). I tried to use a jumper between the two wires where they plug in, bypassing the DRL module, but it blew the turn signal/back up fuse. So do I have any other options before I go buy a new Module for $58?
Oh yeah, last week the DRL part of the bulb lit, now it does not.
I have not had a turn signal on the left for 2 months.

Another thought, can I just pull the two blue wires and directly splice them?

Funny, I'm going through with almost the same problem only with the drivers side rear blinker. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I just bought a new socket from Dal and this weekend and I'm going to replace it. Sometimes I think these cars have a mind of there own. Wish me luck, hopefully the new socket will solve my problem.
