Smile Tune recs

Folks,
Can you give me details on what is meant by " a good tune"? I understand from a previous post the Hypertech prog. is not a preferred mod. Also, what level of performance enhancements can one expect from a 'good tune'.

Recently had a Magnaflow CB and fipk installed. Looking for next steps.

Thanks in advance,
BM

Re: Tune recs

Basically the cars full potential will be opened up. This is done by perfecting spark advance, timing etc. You can get a mail order tune that will help out but the best way to tune is called a dyno tune. What they would use on your car is called LS1 Edit. They'd put your car on a dyno to see how everything is, then they would plug a computer into it and "fool around" with timing, spark advance etc. I probly said this in a confusing way...
